How Norway income tax works
The calculator applies the published tax bands to income after the supported deductions and personal allowance. Each band applies only to the portion inside it. These bands use the taxable income base.
Minimum deduction and personal allowance: 46% of the fiscal salary base, minimum NOK undefined, maximum NOK 95700. The result includes the actual allowed amount and the marginal effect of tapering.
| Taxable annual income | Rate |
|---|---|

Additional schedules: Bracket tax (trinnskatt). These are calculated separately and included in the tax total. Component-specific credits are applied only to their own tax schedule.
