Privacy policy

Anonymous calculations do not require an account. Financial inputs are sent to our server to calculate a result and are not persisted by the public calculator.

SalaryEye uses first-party, cookieless analytics to count page views, daily anonymous visitors, sessions, calculator use, country selections and, when advertising is introduced, ad impressions and clicks. Analytics records may include the page path, country code selected, external referring host and non-personal ad placement identifiers. Salary amounts and calculator profile answers are excluded. A daily rotating pseudonymous identifier is generated from network and browser metadata so the raw IP address and user-agent are not stored in analytics records. Analytics events are retained for up to 13 months.

The administrator login uses a necessary, HTTP-only session cookie. Operational systems may process network metadata for abuse prevention. Avoid recording request bodies in hosting logs.

SalaryEye is operated by Chrysis Pitsillides. Contact: chrysis.pitsillides@gmail.com. Hosting is provided on a Hetzner server in Europe. Saved accounts, alerts and reports are not enabled. Operational logs are size-limited and rotated; abuse-prevention records and protected backups are retained only for operation and recovery. Contact us with privacy or deletion requests.
