How Greece income tax works
Progressive tax applies to income after the supported deductions. Each band taxes only the portion inside it. These bands use the taxable income base.
| Taxable annual income | Rate |
|---|---|
| EUR 0 - 10,000 | 9% |
| EUR 10,000 - 20,000 | 20% |
| EUR 20,000 - 30,000 | 26% |
| EUR 30,000 - 40,000 | 34% |
| EUR 40,000 - 60,000 | 39% |
| EUR 60,000 - and above | 44% |
Tax credits and reductions applied after the main tariff: No-child employment tax credit. Their amounts depend on the supported income profile; they do not reduce additional taxes or contributions.
Social contributions
The listed contributions are additional to the main tax schedule. Some countries include national-insurance premiums in that schedule; see the country assumptions to avoid double counting. Employer payments do not reduce employee take-home pay. Contribution thresholds and rounding use the period specified by the rule.

Deductions & supported scenarios
Supported payments: none yet. Tax deductibility and actual cash payments are tracked separately. Enter only the payment arrangements described in the questions and country limitations.
Where an optimisation scenario is supported, the engine recalculates tax and shows the trade-off in spendable income. Absence of a suggestion does not establish that no other legal relief exists.
